A residency exploring three generations of residents and their relationship to Champaign County and the University of Illinois through personal, civic and institutional archives. In this residency, I took a deep look at the North End of Champaign, a significant cultural site for for Black residents and students in the area. This exploration revealed a rich tapestry of struggle and triumph, reflecting the complexities of navigating education, identity, and community.
